Welfaux Christmas Dress Up Day
Welfaux employees will be dressing up in ‘all things Christmas’ on the 18th December 2024 🎄
This will be in aid of the NHS charity St Barts. We have chosen this charity due to one of our much-loved colleagues, Ian Blagden being admitted here in October 2024. Ian had to undergo a 5-hour heart valve operation, which left him in ICU for quite some time as he started his recovery journey.
Ian has worked with Welfaux since 1993 so not having him at the depot has been very strange for us all.
As a thank you from the Welfaux team to all the hospital staff at St Barts who have taken great care of Ian, we thought a little Christmassy dress up day would be a lovely (and fun) way to raise some money for the charity, so please give what you can.
Ian is now at a hospital closer to home where he is being cared for and undergoing treatment for the minor strokes and seizures incurred from the surgery. We are all hoping he has a steady and successful recovery.
